problem pushing policy to firewall

Just recently upgraded to NG AI R55 (HFA4) on the management WIN200 server. Firewall Nokia IP300 still running NG FP2.


Pushing policy fails. SIC Connection times out and although policy is pushed the GUI reports that the install has failed.


Tried stopping cpd and starting it as well as rebooting firewall but no luck.


Any help appreciated.

Make sure the the gateway object and/or gateway cluster is specified as "NG Feature Pack 2" and repush the policy.  Make sure you do 'cprestart' and "fw unloadlocal" prior repush the policy.


If that still doesn't work, "re"SIC the Enforcement Point with the Management Server.  Repush the policy after that.
