I had this configuration working but I had to recreate everything when I moved over to a new management server. The firewall is running secure platform and the management server is running windows 2k3. The firewall gets an ip address dynamically (I see it with ifconfig) but when I try to push policy I get an error (unfortunately I do not have the exact message right now) about the peer an daip. I am taking the following steps;
1) Create firewall object (without dynamic IP)
2)Estabish sic
3) get topology
4) change object ot dynamic (this is where everything falls apart and sic breaks) I begin to see errors in the tracker about unable to resolve dynamic object 183 184 and 185., The firewall has 2 nics. Internal and external.
I dont remember what I did with checkpoint support to get it working last time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as the firewall is down now.
