Is it database conversion in NG3 upgrade

Hi,


I plan to do an upgrade from NG2 to NG3. In this I have to reinstall (format) windows to put a new WiN 2000 Server and install new NG3.


Can I just backup of CPDIR & FWDIR from NG2 and used it back in NG 3. Is there any conversion of database in upgrade process from NG2 to NG3..

it was a management server upgrade to smartclient
