Upgrading 4.1 to NG R55 question

I am not upgrading the box I am building a new R55 box and entering in the objects/rules/etc manually currently. I was advised that there could be too many issues when just upgrading due to the significant gap between the two versions of CP FW.

My question is this. What is the best way some of you have found to get those objects over to the new firewall? Obviously I can read the objects and type them in manually but if there is a faster/simpler way to do it I would love to hear about it.

Thanks much in advance for any assistance/guidance provided.

I think the upgrading from 4.1 gets better NG version to version. If you have a stable 4.1 environment why not try copying that to the new box and upgrading that using NG R55 ( and HFA04 ). It cant do any harm. There cd with NG R55 on it has utilities that check your 4.1 config and let you know any problems. If you have clusters thats something else where some reconfiguration might be required.

The main problems i encountered were with VPN's but i think R55 is much better at encryption that FP3 which i went to.
