Disaster Recovery on an IP330 Management Server

I have been wracking my brains all week and weekend trying to do a disaster recovery of my IP330 management station/enforcement point onto a new identical IP330.  It's simply not working.


 


I am using the following Checkpoint document as a reference:

Since I am using the same IP address, I stop after Step 8, and I should have a working firewall.


Instead, cpstart core dumps on me.


Does anyone have a good documented procedure for doing a full DR of a management station onto an identical IPSO box?

Not sure you can do it on ipso but the way i do it in windows is using the upgrade_export.exe and upgrade_import.exe utilities. Let us know if you can do the same in ipso.
