we use an old Nokia IP330 Platform to test our rollout for new Checkpoint releases. To test NG AI R55, we updated the machine to IPSO 3.7.1 and installed the IPSO packages and Checkpoint HFA03 for this. All went fine.
Then we started to add rules and objects. Still no problem. After two days of several rule and object additions, on the next morning, there was no connection possible with the smart dashboard any more.
Investigations showed that the fwm is frequently restarted by the watchdog process and core dumps are generated, because of segmentation faults. Especially, when we try to connect via the dashboard, the fwm process "disappears".
