2 boxes. Licencing problems

Hi,

I am trying to setup 2 boxes with SecurePlatform R55. We bought Checkpoint Express licences for box A, and Checkpoint Express HA Failover for box B, with the idea of setting the 2 boxes with automatic failover.

I have generated a license with the external IP of box A for box A, and another one with the external IP of box B for box B.

I have installed Box A OK and can manage it with SmartConsole.

When I install box B, I run onto problems:

First case, I installed it as a secondary SmartCenter. It asked some questions I could not answer (ie something about secure code key) and I think I blew it at this stage!

Anyway, when it was time to talk to box B with SmartConsole, it could not access it.

Then, I re-installed box B, but this time, installed it as a primary Smartcenter. Erverything went fine, and this time I could talk to it via Smartconsole. However, I could not get in, as it came up with "No Valid License found on that server"

What is the best way to generate licenses, install the 2 boxes and install the licenses in my scenario?

I have read quite a lot in the whole documentation, but cannot seem to find anything about that kind of setup, which I thought would be common.

Any help would be really appreciated!!!

Thanks

I found the problem. I needed a 3rd box to run smartcenter. I licenced everything under the internal IP of the smartcenter, then I was able to talk to the 2 gateways and setup the cluster for the gateways
