configuring static routes on windows checkpoint

Does windows have an equivalent to the Voyager capability of checkpoint on unix? I'm managing a bunch of windows checkpoint firewalls, and don't see any good ways to configure new static routes. (Although I know that the firewalls all have some static routes configured, because they show up when I do 'netstat -rn'.)

I also do not see any static routes configured through the Windows control panel (on WinNT).

I've looked for clues on line (at checkpoint, and at nokio), but I'm stumped.

I think you should use "route add -p destination MASK gateway" in the command prompt to add static routes

RE: configuring static routes on windows checkpoin

Thanks for the responses-- sorry if I was unclear. I can (and have done) 'route add' statements, but I think that they'll go away when I reboot the box. I was wondering if there was a checkpoint method for doing the same thing, so that the routes don't have to be entered again.

I've looked for files with the word "route" in them, and came across vpn_route.conf (part of the FW config), but it had no pertinent info. I'll go ahead and open a ticket with checkpoint-- I was trying to avoid it (since I hate their web site interface).

-p means persistent so next reboot of windows os will show the route added.

hi

just go to c:autoexec.bat file and enter in the route command.  So, each time your system boots it will run those commands
