Can NG gui client manage a 4.1 firewall?

I have an NG gui client installed on my laptop, but I am unable to establish a connection to an IP330 that is running 4.1.  I have configured the laptop's IP as a valid management station in the 330's config.

The only thing I can think of is that the NG client is not able to manage 4.1 firewalls.

If that's the case, can anyone provide me with a copy of the 4.1 management client?  I'm kinda stuck here.

Thanks much
Beau

if you have a software support you can download it, choosing the 4.1 version of windows version, you'll see the gui.

it is 4.5mb and it is for des and strong encrypting

I used an NG management station with a 4.1 firewall at a remote location. Did not have any problems.

The firewall was recently upgraded to NG so I'm afraid I can't check any settings.

there seemed to be some confusions about this issue.

Yes, you can manage 4.1 firewall from an NG management server.  However, you still have to use NG GUI to log onto the management server in order to make changes in the policy and push that policy to a 4.1 firewalls.
