is there a way to reset the ssl cert on SPLAT? i built the fw using a different ip address, and now that it is at the proper ip address i get ssl cert errors on login. anyone know a way to generate and install a new cert?
Hi, you can delete the SIC with the command "fwm sic_reset" on the SPLAT. After this you'll have to reinitialize the SIC with cpconfig.
If you have separate firewall modules you'll have to reset SIC on them too and reestablish the trust between the Management server and the Firewall Modules. You can do a fw unloadlocal on the fw modules to unload the existing policy, and then go ahead and reinitialize the SIC on them too using fw sic_reset and cpconfig to reestablish the trust.
