Migrating from Standalone to Distributed Managemen

Im trying to use the export from our current standalone firewall to import into a new "management only" machine (both win-2k). When I do this my new system thinks that the old firewall object in the primary management. I cannot delete this object or change its status. All I really need is the rule set so I can add 2 new 'enforcement modules' (remote SPLAT boxes) and then deploy the rules to them. The distributed dual firewalls and separate management station are intended to replace the standalone from which the export comes.

Can I do a rules only import or can I reverse engineer the full import to achieve what im trying to do? Import Export at this stage appears only good for cloning?

please help...

"When I do this my new system thinks that the old firewall object IS now the primary management module"
