TCP Behavior

In a sniffer trace of Netbios traffic I am seeing sequence and ack numbers that differ on each side of the FW.

I have 2 different sniffer traces.  One from the client and one from the Server.  If I look at each sniffer trace I can see the session establish with proper sequence number and ack number behavior.  But If i compare packet 1 in sniffer trace A and sniffer trace B.  The sequence number are different.  That continue through out the trace.

My question is:  Does Checkpoint (in any case) modify the sequence or ack number of TCP in a packet?

Thanks in advance,

if you use passive syn gateway, sessions are proxied.

try the sequence verifier parameter on smart defense.

if you refer to new tcp-bgp bug, there is a new hotfix

ciao
