VOIP one-way conversations

I have browsed through pretty much all of this forum for a fix on a problem that I have been experiencing with VOIP though a CheckPoint Firewall.

I am using AI R55 on a Nokia IP350 IPSO 3.7.1

Internally our VOIP works fine with no issues at all but we would like our SecureClient users to be able to use VOIP over their VPN (I know, quality will be reduced with enchryption, but hey, if it's cheaper management will go for it). The problem we get is the call will initiate but only one way, the person will answer and we can hear them but they are unable to hear us.

I have seen quite a few other posts of people experiencing the same problems but none had a fix that worked.

Anyone have any ideas?

What is the endpoint soft/hard phone? SIP or SCCP?

Which way is the voice a one-way conversation? Only the other end can hear the person using the softphone?

SIP needs some very specific ports opened up.
