cannot connect to internet

I installed checkpoint NG on win2k professional. I have router with ISDN line connection which is having NAT enabled. I have cofigured the checkpoint as follows. Created a network object and ip range object and enabled NAT on these objects and applied the policies. I have configured the client with gateway pointing to internal ip of Checkpoint machine. Now I am trying to browse from client machine but not able to browse. Any suggwstions?

Regards

Peter

I thought Checkpoint NG, AFAIK, only runs on windows 2k server (on windows platform).  If I were you, I would wipe that box and put secureplatform on it.  It is much faster and come with tcpdump to let me troubleshoot if problems arise.

Actually your answer is "half" correct.  When I took Checkpoint NG training for the first time in 2002, I used Checkpoint NG Feature Pack 0 running on NT platforms.  Checkpoint NG Feature Pack 0 did in fact run on Windows NT 4.0 workstation.  I still had nightmare from this training.

That the last time I came in contact with running Checkpoint NG on Windows platform.  My experience since has been mainly with Nokia and Secureplatform.

I have installed checkpoint NG with Application intelligence. Can u tell me what is the required configuration for normal browsing the internet. I have a cisco router configured with NAT outside as the gateway for checkpoint
